Where is the Podcast studio located?

Sonic is located at Labour Temple at 2800 1st Avenue between Broad and Clay Street. Our main entrance is an ornate wooden and brass door on 1st Avenue.

Can I bring my own producer or team?

Yes, but we ask that you let us know ahead of time. We can accommodate external producers, stylists, or photographers, as long as they respect the studio guidelines. Please inform us in advance.

Is there a place to get ready/do makeup?

If you need more space or time to prep, let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate. Our other rooms are first come, first serve so that is not always a guarantee.

How early should I arrive?

We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to settle in, choose your set, and get mic'd up. Our team will guide you through setup and soundcheck.

Do you offer multi-session or recurring packages?

Yes. If you're planning a weekly or monthly podcast, ask us about custom packages or creator memberships. We're happy to build something that fits your flow. Contact us at membership@labourtemple.com to discuss opportunities.

Do you require insurance?

Insurance requirements vary based on production type and scale. Please review your booking contract for specific requirements.

How do I secure my studio timeslot?

Once a contract is executed and full payment is made, your studio time is reserved. Please refer to your booking contract regarding the cancellation policy.

What are your hours of operation?

Sonic is available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Sessions are booked in 2-hour, 4-hour, or full-day blocks. Specific availability varies by date.

Who is my point of contact?

A Labour Temple representative will assist with your booking and be available for technical support during your session to ensure smooth recording from start to finish. Questions, please reach out to membership@labourtemple.com

How do we access the studio?

Labour Temple is a controlled access building. You will receive a confirmation email ahead of your reservation with access and check in information. Support staff will be available for your session setup and technical assistance.

Do you have a minimum booking period?

Sonic is available in 2-hour or 4-hour booking blocks. Full day opportunities are available upon request. Your booking must include any setup and breakdown time needed. Please contact us at membership@labourtemple.com to discuss extended sessions.

What's included in a session?

Each booking comes with your choice of three set designs (choose when you book), professional-grade equipment (microphones, cameras, lighting, soundproofing), and guided setup from our support staff.

Do I need to bring my own gear?

Nope. Sonic is fully equipped. We provide broadcast-quality microphones, cameras, lighting, soundproofing, and more HOWEVER don't forget your SD card. If you have specific gear you'd like to bring, just let us know in advance at membership@labourtemple.com.

How many people can record at once?

Our studio comfortably supports 1 to 3 on-camera guests, depending on the set you choose. Off-camera seating is available for a producer or additional team member.

What kind of sets are available?

You can choose from three distinct, interchangeable set designs, each curated for different moods and show styles, from warm and intimate to modern and editorial.

How much does it cost to book Sonic?

Please contact membership@labourtemple.com to discuss your Podcast needs. All pricing includes setup support, full use of the space, and standard cleanup.

Is parking available?

There is on-street metered parking in the immediate area, paid surface lots and hourly parking garages are within a block radius. You will be provided with a parking guide link when you receive your booking confirmation.

Can I tour the studio before booking?

Absolutely. Email us at membership@labourtemple.com to schedule a walkthrough. We're happy to show you the space and answer any questions.

Can I use the studio for video too?

Yes! Sonic is optimized for both podcasting and video recording. Whether you're shooting a YouTube series, promo clips, or talking-head interviews, our space is designed to capture clean, polished visuals.
