How has being part of the Labour Temple community influenced your work or business culture?
When looking for a new space to call “home,” we were immediately drawn to the building’s deep roots in community organizing and to the legacy of people coming together to create something bigger than themselves. It’s fantastic to be surrounded by like-minded people, and we’re inspired by the work of other tenants and the artistic collaborations the building engages in that benefit all of us. Three of Imago’s team members work at Labour Temple: Angela, Katie, and Jalá. Please stop us and say hello if you see us in the halls - we’d love to get to know you! Learn more about our team here.

What’s one piece of advice or mindset shift you wish more people knew?
As we approach our 25th year, we’re reflecting on how enduring relationships, thoughtful strategy, and honest communication make meaningful change. This month, we’re leaning into a mindset we return to often: “Clear is kind.” Even when you don’t have every answer, naming what you know (and what you don’t) creates steadiness. Clarity builds trust, and trust makes real progress possible.

To support that work, we’ve created a simple worksheet designed to help people communicate clearly and kindly when navigating change, setting boundaries, or making tough calls. Head to our recent newsletter to download it!
